Kathdin Sheep

Why Katahdins?

DSC00656.JPGThe Katahdin breed was developed in Abbott, Maine.  Katahdin are hair sheep specifically bred for their high quality meat.  They are also very hardy in cold weather, excellent mothers, and do not need to be sheared.

Lambs

DSC04568We anticipate that we will have between fifteen and twenty lambs this spring.  We will likely have lambs for sale in May or June.

Meat

We sell lamb either by the whole animal or individual packages of meat.  A whole lamb is approximately 40 pounds and can be custom cut to your specifications.
